wow, i hope this works, blogger has been a-eatin my posts lately.

so i was at work until 2 am last night. it SUCKED. and i get to go back at 4 am tomorrow.

but today is sunny and beautiful, on top of the 3 inches of snow we got yesterday! the driving conditions were terrible during the snowstorm, but now chicago is very pretty.

i'm home alone right now, but i need to call my parents and then bake an apple pie to take to my orphan holiday. all of us in the area who have parents that are too far away and very litle time off of work are heading to highland park to go to my friend jennys house for dinner. long sentence. anyway jennys mom is hosting an orphan dinner for all of us kids. should be a blast, i wonder if jewel is open right now? i forgot that i should probably bring some champagne to this hoedown.

i'm going to lattice the top of the pie i make!
