Grey skies are going to creal up...
Today went a lot better. I'm really relieaved because I thought I was going to DIE. Anyway, I'm just about to head off to a planning dinner with the co-teachers, but first I thought I do a quick update.
Gin-dawg. You BETTER be serious about coming to visit! What's your time line look like? I think I'm going to China around the first, so let me know. You are always welcom to crash at my place- though you might have to share a bed with me (yummy). (PS- Korea is a probably warmer than WI, but we also don't leave windows open in WI)
Mol. I'm glad you planned your outfit in advance- the question is, which swimsuit? The pink one, or one of your old swimming ones- you have a bunch of them! Oh, and I find the videos through completely legal internet downloading sites.
My plans for thanksgiving- working and then going out to eat Korean food with a bunch of people who can't understand a word I say. Luckily there is a American style meal on Sunday in Seoul that I'm going to- turkey here I come!
On the football front: despite the "stick-you-head-in-th-sand-and-keep-it-there-forever" last two games of the season I am very excited for the Outback Bowl on Jan 1st, 10am CST (Jan 2 1:oo am KST). Mostly because we might play Georgia- and my cuz Robin goes there, so we could have a nice family rivalry going.
Also, last night I rented my first video in Korea! I got Lost in Translation. I thought that it was super hilarious- especially the parts that I could identify with- seriously, the r's and l's, they aren't making that up! Or the horribly short translations of a three minute speach by someone. If you haven't seen it, see it. You will understand partly what my life is like- plus you get to see what a norebang is. Although the one in the movie was nicer than the ones I usually go to.
I leave you with these words:
