man, hell of a night at work tonight.

SO, we had a whole gaggle of district visitors this morning, and they gave us really good scores so everyone was in a good mood.

BUT my stupid fucking HR girl however managed to take most of the credit for our hard work.

AND she keeps hiring people that i recommend be turned down. have you any idea how irritating and futile it feels to be training someone (two people tonight actually) that i recommended not be hired in the first place?! no wonder lots of our customers feel we give terrible service! our employees are not up to my standard, and its not my fault!

BUT i made my first recovery tonight! some dude walked in literally two minutes before close, grabbed a cart, and booked for electronics. then he comes to the cash registers 8 minutes later (well after close at this point) with all this toilet paper. he pulls out one package and tells me they're all the same, so i can just scan the one item four times. i say, well, if you don't mind, why don't we take each one out to scan them. lo and behold, the idiot has four digital cameras underneath the TP he's hoping i'm not going to see! jackass. he says, oh i just wanted a price check on those. i had AP escort him to the door after he paid for just the toilet paper. and i bet he returns it all tomorrow.

first season of home movies DVD is rocking my world today. tomorrow i'm bringing home made lemon bars to my last ceramics class of the year.

and get what a big city girl i just became = i'm going home for a weekend in december, and rather than drive i'm FLYING. oh yeah, o'hare to MSP. ha, its actually going to take longer to fly when you count in the check in time at the airport. i'm awesome.
