so my thanksgiving in highland park = awesome. jennys mom cooked, but then these two women showed up to serve us. my dinner was waitressed. it was kind of crazy. i didn't catch on right away, before diner when everyone was kind of milling around and eating appetizers they kept asking me if i wanted more of anything or if they could take my plate, and i just thought they were really nice. i didn't think they were being paid to ask me such questions. weird.

so work has been terrible, i am now in full-time job search mode. and i need to find a local STA to look into plane tickets. ideally i still want to go to australia. i can't believe how much cheaper it is to fly to korea though! liz - i'll let ya know.

i'm going to a shiva tonight for daves grandfather who died last weekend. apparently its kind of like a wake, only fun and and happy. way cool. his family is so nice to me.
