hey liz - sorry i didn't call you back, i was on the plane when you called on monday. i got up at 4 on monday morning to catch the rochester direct to MPLS and was back in chicago by 9:30. hope everyone had a thankful weekend!

so last night i went grocery shopping at around 11 pm at the mexican grocery store 3 blocks from my house. i normally don't go there because the selection is small and the produce isn't great, but the prices aren't bad. I usually get beer or wine there on weekends nights when i'm on my way out because it's so close by. When it's warm out i go to a produce market for all my fruits and veggies, and to the jewel for dry goods and meat, but it's been too cold to bike or walk all the way over to those places lately, so i had to go to Edmar. When i went to check out the two girls working started joking in spanish that normally when i come in i only buy liquor, so they were relieved to see that i actually eat too.
