OMG hi marie! yeah, this thing comes and goes in the worst way. i try to update it still occasionally, but i lose interest when i'm the only one who writes.

so kristin is in nepal some of you may have heard. i think i'll post an email from her later. she's doing well there. i'm happy she actually went through with it.

Marie - don't you get so sick of living in a big city sometimes? there was one time this summer that me and dan (the bf) were all psyched about driving out to the country to look at the stars. we drove for like 45 minutes in the middle of the night and got bored so we stopped and pulled over into some woods and realized we were still very much in chicago. we could see like 4 stars. i love chicago (duh, it's all i ever talk about) but i miss nature sometimes! it would be so cool to have like, i don't know, a GARAGE and a GARDEN!

today was gloomy. dan and i slept in real late, bummed around my house for a bit and made chili, and then i watched a movie. this even has been spent reading and eating chili, and we're going to watch a zombie movie shortly. i feel so lazy. but it was rainy outside so i feel justified in being a bum. and yesterday i went in to work and painted the office, so it's not like i accomplished nothing this weekend.

and tomorrow i'll be busy doing CHOREOGRAPHY and DANCING!!! so all my friends including dan are in a parody rap group called the 446, and i am now a back up dancer for them. its sweet. we opened for United States of Electronica at Schuba's in chicago last week, and on Saturday night of Halloween we are opening for the go! team at the metro. the metro! it's huge! i'm so excited! the other girls and i are getting together tomorrow evening to put together a dance for a new song. way fun.

so uh, thats about it for now i think. sox are in the world series! the southside is ablaze with glory and pride after their win last night. its an exciting time to be in this city.

oh wait! so heidi just moved to chicago and lives like 6 blocks from me! it's such a nutty coincidence!
