oh man, what happened guys? we've neglected this word machine for too long again. kristin, it was lovely to hear from you last weekend, let's get together soon. mara - i was glad to see you in madison two weekends ago. you should both come visit me in chicago. i'll borrow some bikes and we can cruise around the city all day long.

i'm from work to go to boston this weekend with my parents. they are already there, i'll be flying in late. it should be totally weird. we're going to be staying with my aunt (fathers sister) that i spent spring break '02 with, skiing in Maine. she tried to get me to go home with the bartender of the bar we were at one night. she's crazy and makes me rather uncomfortable. they'll be drunk all weekend, i find it really hard to get loaded in front of my parents.


argh. i'm glad i'm going just because i never EVER see any of this side of the family. my cousin who is fresh back from serving in iraq will be there too, it will be interesting to see how he is.

work has been totally 'eh' lately. it's been busy and we've been shorthanded, so we can't get all of our work done, which is de-motivating to me to try to even tackle the big projects. summer wedding season is over, but fall wedding season is already picking up. wheeee.

did you know lenin's tomb is a communist plot? sorry this is boring, how about we all get together for real sometime soon?
