I know someone famous

Congrats Marie! That is so awesome, you MUST let us know when we can see you. Can I have your autograph?

When you become famous will you still blog here?

One thing I miss a lot since being back in the states: famousness. In Korea I WAS a star. Now I'm just your average white woman. No one yells and waves at me as I walk into work, no one stares at me, no one comes up to me to offer me jobs... Of course the up side is that people can't talk bad about me right to my face. They have to actually go behind my back to do it.

In sad news, in case it didn't make it outside MN and WI, Kirby Puckett died. :( Being a staunch Brewer fan there are not too many Twins players I care about, but he was one of them. He was the guy we all grew up hearing about, and to have him die young is very sad indeed.

So as not to end on a depressing note, my cat was acting really wierd last night- I swear she was on drugs, except that I have no harvest at my apartment. The evening ended up with her jumping wildly from place to place and landing in a bowl of cold water (never mind why it was there). That seemed to sober her up, although she wouldn't talk to me for a half hour afterwards.

2006

This is the first post of the new year! Considering that it's March that's really sad. I have nothing interesting to contribute, but thought that someone needed to step up.

I am really excited for two things to happen:

1. get paid next week
2. get tax refund back

Yes, both of those things have to do with money, that's because I really want to buy a spring coat. It should be spring within the next couple months and I want to be prepared.

I also want to take a vacation, but I feel the likelyhood of this happening is less and less.

Anyone else out there?
