k dawg - the amtrak station that the bus drops you off at is like 3 blocks from my office, i will totally pick you up and then we can go eat hot dogs. the bar right by my house just opened after remodeling too, so i think we can lure dave (and maybe candy :() into having a drink with us there friday evening. saturday i need to shop for a full length slip.

i think i put another dent in my car when i went grocery shopping on monday night. i am just not cut out for vehicle-ownership.

No, I didn't turn communist while in China and decide to live in exile from America.

However, upon coming home from I discovered that the powerchord that keeps my laptop up and running is dead. So I can only get online at school now. I started teaching my week long class over vacation yesterday. The kids are no motivated at all. It's going to be a long week.

Anyway, I think I can send congrats to Gin on a job, and say I wish I could congradulate Mara on the same thing, and sympathize about some sort of leak, but I haven't had a chance to read everything yet.

i'm back from my rustic mountain wilderness retreat. six days in the south eating more red meat than i've had in the past six months. not to mention the biscuits...

my roommate went to madison this weekend and came back with a humidor that makes our living room hum like a bad jim o'rourke installation.

i'm dead tired and i have to go to work at my NEW JOB in 8.5 hours. goodnight!

[Enter whining noise here] you guys! I have so much fucking homework. Virg, will you send me some paper for all my homework? This next month and a half is going to suck so bad. I'm moving TWICE! I leave my apartment here, my lovely lovely apartment, in two weeks to move to my friend Chrissy's sweet 2 bedroom and then at the end of february we're moving to a new location with my friend Jill. It's a hassle, yes. It sucks, yes. But the rewards will be sweet as hot honey. Congrats on your new job and paid vacation Virginia! That's AWESOME. I'm glad you're escaping the limits of khaki. It'll be great.
I have to do this project about information design using the tsunami as the subject. Inappropriate? Yes. But them's the rules see. It's just so horrible that I wish they weren't being so "and study Time magazine even though it's fucking graphic and that's what hell looks like." Yuck. In good news though, I got a job today at the library! Yea! It pays over nine bucks an hour and that's TAX FREE!!!

last weekend in january = PARFAIT. keep an ear out for my birthday weekend party possibility too.

OMG last day of work today! it was great, i went in at 11, merchandised some clearance, did some cashiering, turned in my keys, and was out the door by 3:30. target bought me lunch too.

and i'm on my way! my plane leaves tomorrow morning, i'll be back just in time for a new job sunday night.

i want an apple. kristin someone told me today that they have an aunt named virginia that they call veege. i was all like, "thats not as good as geege."

man i had all kinds of outdoor errands to run today, but its totally snraining out. a wintery mix.

i should cook but i've been so lazy about doing that lately. i don't think i've made a proper meal since before new years.

so my aunts and uncles on my fathers side of the family still send me christmas presents as if i were still eight years old. only now they send money instead of ugly sweaters. its pretty sweet, but i wonder how long this can go on for? i figured the gifts would stop once i was out of college and became a 'real adult'. not that i'm complaining. i just feel a little guilty now. i didn't even send them christmas cards.

another tuesday night of ice escapades have left my legs so sore again today! i love my tuesday night skate/drink routine, but since my bad spill last week its a little bit rougher to complete.

kristobot this is the last weekend that i will have to work. after the 24th = come see my any weekend. any weekend you please!

so my last day at target is the 17th, next monday. tuesday i leave to go to virginia through the weekend, and then the 24th i start my new job! i just learned yet ANOTHER huge perk of the stationary gig - business trip to trade shows.

in february i get to go to atlanta for a week, in march i will go to NYC for a week, and later in the spring a trip to san francisco is a possibility.

OH YEAH.

i will quit just as soon as my stupid boss decides to show up at work again. that lady has been gone four days in a row now! i almost called her at home to put in my two weeks notice.

i think i want to be done there by the 17th so i can go to VA with my mom. i have almost a week of unused vacation, hopefully i can take it at the end.

new jobs are so sweet, i can't stop thinking about taking the train to work and wearing jeans. red and khaki be gone.

Oh man, that was fucking awesome. Guns N Roses are still awesome. Interpretive dance is awesome. Virginia saying "awesome" in every second sentence is awesome. I hope she takes back that particular resolution because then that would be awesome too. Word nerds.

Resolution?

You mean, like, pixels? I totally forgot to make resolutions, but here's one. I will not tell the boys whose butts I saw that I took pictures of them and maybe even a short film. Who knows, they might not remember. Here's my other resolution: I will try not to be so hard on people who disappoint me, because sometimes they just don't realize they're doing it and that's not fair to them. In short, I will love them better. Also, I'm gonna start making out with boys again. Not that I've been making out with girls or teachers, (although there is this one really hot teacher that has this lisp that I find super sexy and I'm NOT kidding) but really it's time to get back on the pony. Don't you think? Looks like everything with my landlord might work out---Virg you know what I mean, and for the rest of you, it's not a very interesting story. Woot. I'm jetlagged from my little holiday adventure. One more resolution: I will listen to all 9 minutes of November Rain and make up a new interpretive dance for it. This resolution will be completed in 9 minutes. Gotta go dance.

though i could have if i wanted to. he promised to teach me how to fix bikes and cars. the mission really only failed because it was interrupted by a more important mission to make out with the nice boy i had been buying drinks for before the hairdresser showed up.
