to start things off right, heres a little story of how my day went yesterday.

i wasted my only day off for 11 days in an all-day interview for a job with this sketchy downtown marketing firm. we were bumming around roscoe village and my interviewer stopped to get gas on the corner of belmont and western. we noticed a girl standing on the corner wearing the worlds shortest skirt and both made comments about how she must be hard at work, and so soon after school was let out too! while eddie gassed up his lexus, a dude in an suv totaly pulled up to the corner, honked at the girl, and she got in. whoa dude. my first time witnessing prostitution in all its glory, and my second run-in with "urban life". (the first run-in being when my sideview mirror was kicked off my car one night.)

so thats all. i have to work the next 7 days in a row, may not get to go home next weekend, may not get to go to madison for halloween, and am coming down with a cold. now i must go pottercize before i leave for work.
but seriously, i love this city.
