oh madison, you put on a show for me thursday night. kristins and my plans for playing scrabble at pauls club were thwarted by a huge gang of smelly hippies crowding up the place. thank you madison for putting throngs of patch-pantsed, dreadlocked white kids in a haze of smoke right in the way of my ideal night. it was okay though because we went to jennas for our word-play fun.

friday i got my hair cut by my favorite ever hair cutter, then said hi to the ERC peeps and was on my way to minneesoda. today my momma and i went to minneapolis to buy her a new volvo, and i heard not 1, but 3 prince songs on her new car radio while in twin cities territory. we also went shopping at anthropoligie, and big ups to MN for their lack of sales tax on clothing!

tonight = drink expensive wine with my parents and a 50th b-day party, tomorrow = play with my brothers dog, monday = back to chicago and work. booyah!
